Hotels were nice. The hotel food was not the best. Would have liked a different menu. You go to Italy and you want to experience their food. Very disappointed on the food. Secondly having to get a sandwich for lunch is not what I wanted. You could have setup a head of time a restaurant for lunch to save time. The sites were awesome. Last hotel was not the best. It probably had the best food but it is not a 4/5 star hotel. Our view was like a ghetto.

The trip to Italy was a nice experience, fast pace did not feel good for us, The upgrade to premium economy was crazy expensive. Would of like a longer lunch hour to enjoy some of the food that the Italians brag about. Nadilla did an awesome job in controlling 47 different people. The hotel food was awful. Would have preferred eating on our own expensive at a good restaurant. I will not recommend this trip to other parishioners.

My review of Fr Celsius is above and beyond expectations,Father is very spiritual and his homily is as such. The hotel is fair since the food is to desired. However, the guide Name Ivan was not, in all the international travels I’ve done, the guide never leave passenger behind. I told him along with the other passengers that were there,, that I was entering into the church, that was right in front of where the other 2spanish speaking were taking pictures and were supposed to join me inside the church. They stated they couldn’t find me but the guide just left me in a foreign land not speaking the language and no one around to help, but by the grace of God I found my way. I didn’t say anything to Father but this guide name Ivan should be reprimanded for his lack of concern.

⸻ The pilgrimage to Mexico was a truly meaningful and grace-filled experience. Fr. Celsus led the journey beautifully, offering prayerful guidance and celebrating Mass with deep reverence. The visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe was especially powerful and remains a profound witness of faith for all who participated. From an accommodations perspective, the hotel and breakfast arrangements were excellent and provided a comfortable and welcoming start to each day. One area for potential improvement would be the dinner experience, where additional variety and quality could further enhance the overall experience after long and full days. Additionally, having a U.S.-based coordinator travel with the group could add significant value. This role could help support clearer communication, smoother coordination, and added oversight alongside the local guide. There was one instance during the pilgrimage where a small number of participants were left behind due to a change in timing and meeting location. While the situation was ultimately resolved, it caused some understandable stress. Clearer advance communication and on-site coordination in similar moments would help prevent this in the future and provide added reassurance to participants. Overall, this was a beautiful pilgrimage, rich in faith and spiritual nourishment. With a few thoughtful enhancements to coordination and dining, future pilgrimages could be even more seamless and enriching.

This was a pilgrimage, not a leisure vacation, and expectations should be aligned accordingly. Our groups stay in carefully selected high-quality hotels — often 4- and 5-star properties — that are consistently praised by clergy and group leaders. The primary purpose of these journeys is spiritual, not culinary or luxury-focused. It is also important to clarify that this individual experienced airline check-in issues that were unrelated to tour operations. Airline ticketing, documentation, and check-in compliance are the responsibility of the passenger and the airline. These matters are outside the control of the tour operator and should not be misrepresented as tour-management failures. Regarding on-site coordination, schedules and meeting locations in large international cities may change due to traffic, security, and site access. Participants are instructed to remain with the group and follow the guide’s directions at all times. When travelers do not follow group instructions or separate from the group, complications can occur. This does not constitute abandonment. We reject the implication that our team was negligent or that participant safety was compromised. This pilgrimage was professionally organized with experienced guides, strong local partnerships, and accommodations at a standard widely respected by clergy and returning groups. A pilgrimage requires cooperation, patience, and personal responsibility. We stand by our program, our partners, and our mission.
