Depart from your local airport on an overnight flight to Lisbon. Settle in and enjoy dinner, inflight entertainment, and quiet time to prepare spiritually for your pilgrimage. Breakfast will be served before landing.
Arrive in Lisbon and meet your tour manager. Travel to Obidos, a perfectly preserved medieval village surrounded by 14th century walls. Stroll through narrow cobblestone streets lined with flowered balconies, craft shops, and century’s old homes. Continue to Fatima, one of the world's most important Marian shrines. Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, containing the tombs of St Francisco, St Jacinta, and Sister Lucia, plus the Chapel of Apparitions, built on the site of Our Lady's appearances in 1917. Explore the vast sanctuary grounds including the modern Basilica of the Holy Trinity.
After dinner, participate in the Candlelight Rosary Procession, a powerful nightly tradition in Fatima.
Overnight in Fatima.
Begin with Mass at the Fatima Sanctuary, followed by a visit to Valinhos, the site of Lady's fourth apparition, and the homes of the shepherd children in Aljustrel (Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia) Walk the Stations of the Cross along the beautiful Hungarian Calvary path, accompanied by quiet prayer. In the afternoon, travel to coastal town of Nazare, known for its dramatic cliffs, ancient Marian devotion, and traditional fishing culture. Visit the Sanctuary of our Lady of Nazare, home to a revered statue said to have been brought by early Christian monks. Enjoy free time overlooking the Atlantic Ocean before returning to Fatima for dinner and overnight.
Depart Fátima for Porto, Portugal’s historic northern capital. Celebrate
Mass at the Church of St. Francis, famous for its Gothic structure and
gold-leaf Baroque interior. Enjoy a panoramic tour along the Douro
River, viewing the Dom Luís I Bridge, the colorful Ribeira waterfront,
and Porto’s historic architecture. Travel to Braga, one of Europe’s oldest
Christian cities, to visit the masterpiece Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary
Walk or take the funicular up the iconic Baroque stairway decorated with
fountains and symbolic statues. Continue across the border into Spain and
arrive in the coastal Galician fishing town of O Grove. Dinner and
overnight.
Travel to Santiago de Compostela, a UNESCO World Heritage city and
the final destination of the Camino de Santiago. Visit the majestic Cathedral
of St. James, home of the Apostle’s tomb. Venerate the relics, admire
the Portico of Glory, and explore the historic cloisters. Attend the
Pilgrim’s Mass, a treasured spiritual highlight. When scheduled, you may
witness the giant Botafumeiro incense ceremony. Enjoy time in the medieval
Old Town with its pilgrim streets, artisans, and cafés. Return to your
hotel for dinner and overnight.
Depart for Lugo to visit its cathedral, renowned for uninterrupted Eucharistic
Adoration for more than seven centuries. Continue to Oviedo,
ancient capital of the Kingdom of Asturias. Visit the Cathedral of San
Salvador, home of remarkable relics:
• the Sudarium of Oviedo (cloth covering Christ’s face),
• relics from the True Cross,
• and the Arca Santa reliquary chest.
Explore the Holy Chamber, a UNESCO site. Travel to Covadonga, a place
deeply connected to Spanish Christian history. Visit the Basilica of Covadonga
and the Holy Cave Shrine set dramatically into the mountainside.
Dinner and overnight.
Travel to the quiet mountain village of San Sebastián de Garabandal,
where alleged Marian apparitions occurred from 1961–1965. Visit the
parish church, walk to The Pines, a peaceful grove where messages were
reportedly given, and spend time in reflection. Continue across the majestic
Pyrenees into France and arrive in Lourdes, one of the most visited
healing shrines in the world. After dinner, join the moving Candlelight
Rosary Procession. Overnight in Lourdes.
Celebrate Mass at the Grotto of Massabielle, the site of Our Lady’s appearances to St. Bernadette. Visit St. Bernadette’s significant places:
• the Boly Mill, where she was born,
• the Cachot, where her family lived in poverty,
• and the Parish Church, where she was baptized.
Participate in the Blessed Sacrament Procession and, if available, the Healing Baths, a deeply spiritual experience for many pilgrims. Enjoy free time
for personal prayer, visiting the baths, filling water bottles from the spring, shopping for sacramentals, or walking the Stations of the Cross. Join the
evening Rosary with pilgrims from around the world. Dinner and overnight.
Depart Lourdes through the scenic Pyrenees toward Spain. Stop in Aínsa, a perfectly preserved medieval village with stone houses, a Romanesque
church, and the picturesque Plaza Mayor. Continue to Montserrat, Catalonia’s spiritual heart. Take the cable car or mountain road to the Montserrat
Monastery. Visit the Basilica to venerate the Black Madonna (La Moreneta), patroness of Catalonia. Learn about the Benedictine monk community
and the ancient monastery. Attend Vespers or listen to the world-famous Escolania Boys’ Choir (based on schedule). Dinner and overnight near
Montserrat/Barcelona.
Travel to Barcelona and begin with Mass at the Cathedral of St. Eulalia, dedicated to the city’s young martyr. Enjoy a guided walking tour through
the Gothic Quarter, exploring Roman walls, medieval courtyards, Barcelona’s ancient Jewish quarter, royal plazas, and charming narrow streets.
Visit the historic Plaça del Rei and Plaça Sant Jaume. Enjoy the afternoon free to explore shops, cafés, the waterfront, or Las Ramblas. Dinner and
overnight in Barcelona.
Begin with a guided visit to La Sagrada Familia, Antoni Gaudí’s extraordinary basilica blending theology, nature, color, and symbolism. Admire the
Nativity and Passion façades, the soaring interior columns, and the luminous stained-glass windows. Enjoy free time for final shopping, oceanfront
strolling, or optional visits such as Park Güell, Montjuïc, or Casa Batlló. Celebrate with a festive farewell dinner, reflecting on the blessings of your
journey. Overnight in Barcelona.
Transfer to Barcelona Airport for your return flight home, filled with spiritual graces and unforgettable memories from your pilgrimage across Portugal,
Spain, France, and Catalonia.
